The Ministry of Labour established the Labour Research Database (LRD) in 2003. LRD brings together research summaries and reports from libraries and organizations around the country. This helps facilitate the investigation of labour and welfare researches and information for those who are developing or conducting either a large or small-scale research project. Through its extensive storage of labour research information, the database can provide interested scholars, students, employers, and workers with important and clearly defined access to the Ministry of Labour's research resources and activities. LRD sees itself as an open channel for communication about labour research between the Ministry of Labour and research communities. LRD also allocates space for publicizing researches or theses on labour and relating topics. The information contained in the database covers various aspects of labour and welfare issues ranging from labour relations, labour protection, wages, welfare, occupational safety, skill development, employment, social insurance, human resources and others.
The database is run by the Research Division, which is an organization under the Ministry of Labour. You can contact the Research Division through this website or by the address shown below.
